Braemar House is a social centre providing day care and supporting local members of the community. More specifically this includes those who may have mental health problems, physical disabilities, are frail or who may be dependent upon others.

We have established a special place that provides excellent social care and support that is second to none. Our centre is run by caring and experienced staff with excellent skills that can make such a positive difference to people's lives.

We are ideally located in Taunton town centre within easy walking distance of the shops and the beautiful award-winning Vivary park.

Our centre offers a wide range of crafts, activities, entertainment, hobbies as well as the opportunity to be assisted with outside tasks such as:

• Personal shopping in the local shops
  
• Walks in the local parks
  
• Trips to places like Taunton museum
  
• Organised minibus trips to places further afield
  
• Visits to dentists, opticians, etc

Our day rate includes all drinks, snacks and a superb lunch. It offers such excellent value with all the facilities that ensures everybody is delighted spending a day in our day care centre.

Our staff have a wide range of experience and are very keen to make Braemar House a very special centre, offering specific social care and support. We encourage our members to pursue normal daily activities and to challenge themselves with new interest and ventures. Most important of all is for our members to have fun!
